CALLING ALL YOUNG FILM MAKERS

If you are in Years 5-12 and either do Media or like to make movies in your spare time, then we want you to participate in the 2020 Synthesis Film Showcase.

This year entries are restricted to just St Stephen's students. There are three categories: Upper Primary (Years 5-6), Middle School (Year 7s-10) and Senior School (Years 11+12).

Please note that this year there will be no prizes or winners announced. It is purely a chance for you to create something, and screen it in front of an audience of peers.
However, only those selected by Mr Vagnoni and Mr Eaton will be screened on the night.

WARNING: THE BELOW VIDEO IS RATED M15+.

Some tips for what we want to see in your film:

  • Spend some time planning your ideas, characters and storylines.
  • Try to think of as many ideas as possible. Your first idea isn’t always your best!
  • Be as creative and original as possible.
  • Get your actors to practice their lines so they don’t laugh in the film.
  • Film from a range of different angles or shots.
